SP 536 - Systems Theory and Practice


This course introduces candidates to the concepts of educational reform and systems change. Emphasis is placed on various theories of educational reform and how these shape current practices within the field of education, particularly school psychology. Candidates will understand the fundamentals of program evaluation and how to analyze data to support intervention selection and systemic implementation. (3 credit hours)
