BA 425 - Theories of Personality


In this course students will gain an in-depth understanding of the major theories of personality. The work of various theorists will be examined and discussed as they relate to personality development throughout an individual’s life span.  These theories will be discussed in relation to research findings, as well as to methods of psychotherapy. In addition, students will have the opportunity to examine and interpret case studies to apply the various perspectives. (3 credits)
