BA 427 - Learning and Cognition in Children and Adolescents


In this course students will examine current developmental theories of cognitive processes such as language, memory and intelligence, and how differences in cognitive level mediate learning of educational subject matters. Topics of investigation and review will include individual differences, measurement, motivation, emotions, intelligence, attitudes, thinking and problem solving and communication in educational and social settings. (3 credits)
