PC 211 - Research Clerkship II

Students engage in a course of research/scholarship that complements that of his or her Faculty Mentor. Students are matched in small groups with a faculty member who will mentor the student over the course of two consecutive terms (fall and spring) during their first year in the Program. Students will meet for one hour weekly (or two hours every other week). In concert with their mentor and advanced students serving as research assistants, students will chose an area for research/scholarship; will review literature, and, as deemed appropriate, will participate in quantitative and/or qualitative research projects. Students may also help to prepare materials for publication and/or for use in poster sessions and/or conference presentations. During their second year in the program, students will be expected to continue work with their mentor as a research assistant.
