CR 500 - Capstone Project

The capstone course for undergraduates in criminology is designed to allow students the opportunity to integrate and apply learning from their courses in criminology into a presentation.  This project is an independent study in which consists of a formal research project, intended to demonstrate the skills in research and critical thinking.  Students will choose a problem or issue within the criminological research and develop a research question based on the review of literature and to test their research question through the use of secondary data and provide a write up of the results.  Students are encouraged to allow this project to prepare them for their next goal whether it be professionally or for graduate school.
