PY 450D - Professional Issues and Ethics


Prerequisite(s): PY 415D . Professional, ethical, and legal issues related to the practice of clinical psychology and the psychologist as clinician, consultant, educator, and researchers are critically examined in the course. Issues considered include privacy, privilege, confidentiality and its limitations, informed consent, patients’ rights, malpractice, client-therapist relationships, collegial relationships, and other regulations influencing the practice of psychology. (3 credit hours)
