SP 565 - Statistics


This course covers a broad cross section of issues in statistics related to measurement. Topics include variability, probability, confidence intervals, Z scores, null hypothesis significance testing, t tests, ANOVA, correlation, multiple regression, and an introduction to factor analysis. Students will gain an appreciation for and understanding of measurement error as it applies to the measurement of psychological constructs such as intelligence testing, and for utilizing test scores to identify location within a distribution. (3 credit hours)
