SP 552 - Social-Emotional Assessment in Schools


Prerequisite(s):    This course provides access to core knowledge related to preventing, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from crises impacting students and schools. Additionally, candidates will be introduced to the concepts of prevention and universal screening. A practical application of these topics will be conducted as a means of understanding how to address the social-emotional needs of children using a systems approach of behavioral support. (3 credit hours)
