PF 745 - Research Methods


This course provides students with an understanding of the resources, community research methodology, and contemporary research in the fields of forensic psychology and criminal justice. Intermediate methodological designs will be covered along with ethical issues confronted within forensic settings and with forensic populations. Students will learn to generate research designs and to select variables for study. This course will require students to critically examine published experimental reports in order to identify potential threats to validity and to determine the strength of the variables studied. (3 credit hours)
