SPD 702 - Culturally Competent Practice

This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of ways in which culture pervades and interfaces with school, society, and community services to children. Students will learn how various multiculturally-oriented theories and research are translated into programs that promote prevention and change as they relate to children, families, and communities.
