SP 400 - Introduction to Applied Behavior AnalysisThis course focuses on behavioral principles and their applications to diverse populations. Both classical and operant conditioning are reviewed, with a heavy emphasis on the operant. Students will learn behavioral principles and procedures to increase, reduce, or promote (e.g., PBIS) the generalization and maintenance of behavior. Although no official prerequisites, an undergraduate course in behavior analysis or related work experience will be helpful. (3 credits) |
