PY 642 - Dissertation Maintenance IIPrerequisite(s): Students meet regularly with their specific dissertation chair in small groups to monitor their ongoing progress on their dissertations. Specific deadlines are set for the completion of committee approval of the proposal, and IRB application (Dissertation Maintenance I), steps for completion of the sections of the dissertation (Dissertation Maintenance II and III), completion of an 85% complete approved draft (Dissertation Maintenance III), submittal of the dissertation draft to the committee (Dissertation Maintenance IV), and oral defense (Dissertation Maintenance V). Students must register for Dissertation Maintenance every semester after the completion of PY 630 until dissertation is complete. A total of five semesters of Dissertation Maintenance is required, in addition to the completion of PY 630, to complete the dissertation (1 credit) (credit/no credit) |
