PY 479 - Introduction to NeuropsychologyPrerequisite(s): PY 449 . Major systems and structures of the brain are reviewed and common impairments of language, cognition, and perception are studied. Students are introduced to various neuropsychological tests currently used in clinical settings. Neurologic syndromes, including stroke, head trauma, seizure, and dementia, are examined with relevant case studies and test data. (2 credits) |
