PF 759 - Psychological Interventions in Forensic SettingsThis course introduces students to problems and/or issues commonly displayed in a variety of forensic settings; most notably, jails, prisons, and mandated treatment programs. Common problems include continued criminality, substance abuse/addiction, mental illness, sexual deviance, suicidality, death/grief, and gang activity. Various interventions and techniques used to treat these issues are explored. (2 credits) |
