PF 748 - Statistics IThis course provides a review of the use of confidence intervals in reporting data, Z scores and the standard probability curve, null hypothesis significance testing (i.e., t-tests, ANOVA, and chi-square), effect size measurement, and meta-analysis. Students analyze data using the SPSS statistics program. Students will be expected to analyze data both by hand and using SPSS. The course is designed to provide students with a practical understanding of how to apply statistical design and analysis to their own research problems and to enable students to better understand published data from journal articles. (2 credits) |
