PB 538 - Advanced Consulting SkillsThis class will focus on the methodology and practice of psychological consultation to businesses and organizations. The overarching objective is for students to develop an in-depth understanding of project management design and implementation. As project management is a general method, this course will apply project management across the wide variety of interventions that a consulting psychologist can offer. Students will examine the different types and scope of consultation that a consulting psychologist will provide. The stages and processes of the various consultations will be detailed and applied. In addition to the methods and procedures of consultation, students will address the customer relationship issues and ethical considerations that are critical to any engagement. (3 credits) |
