IO 520 - Personnel PsychologyPrerequisite(s): IO 519 . This course further develops the students’ conceptual foundation in I/O psychology by providing an in-depth overview of all areas of industrial psychology. These areas include ethical guidelines, case and statutory law, job analysis, selection, training, criterion development, performance appraisal, test development, reliability, validity, cut score, utility analysis, and validity generalization. It features technical knowledge from standard sources as well as recent research and case studies. Students will analyze research and application readings as they continue to develop their critical thinking skills. (3 credits) |
