AB 595 - Practicum VPrerequisite(s): AB 520 , AB 521 , AB 546 , AB 550 and AB 590 This applied experience is an opportunity for a student to demonstrate understanding of key concepts in clinical psychology and applied behavior analysis in a work setting. Training includes a variety of activities that an applied behavior analyst is expected to perform. The training experience requires a minimum of 1,000 hours over a minimum of 12 months of on-site supervised training (at a program approved practicum site which may be the students current place of employment). Students are required to obtain an additional one hour of individual supervision by a BCBA per week. This course meets the requirements for 50% of the BCBA supervision hours required by the BACB 9group supervision). (1 credit) |
