AB 526 - Relational Frame TheoryIn this course students taking Relational Frame Theory (RFT) will become familiar with arbitrarily applicable relational responding including understanding of mutual entailment, combinatorial entailment and transformation of stimulus functions; be able to describe functional contextualism which is the philosophical underpinning of RFT; describe the place of RFT in behavioral and cognitive behavioral accounts of human language and cognition; be able to apply principles of RFT to interventions with persona with developmental disabilities, psychiatric problems; and in educational and organizational settings.
