AB 585 - Advanced Functional Behavioral AssessmentPrerequisite(s): AB 531 , AB 547 , and AB 550 This course is designed to provide students with advanced training in current state-of-the-art functional behavioral assessments (FBA). The various FBA procedures will be covered including Indirect, Direct/Descriptive and Experimental Analysis. Students will learn about FBA applications across populations (e.g., organizational settings, individuals with and without developmental disabilities, various age ranges, etc.). Students will also learn how to complete a technical and conceptual analysis of empirical FBA research and will be required to design and complete an FBA that has the potential to contribute to the current literature.
