AB 516 - Clinical and Diagnostic Skills IIPrerequisite(s): AB 515 . This course builds upon the foundation of Clinical and Diagnostic Skills I. Specifically, students learn ways of incorporating these techniques into models of diagnostic interviewing. This course provides the student with a solid understanding of additional interview formats, including Mental Status Examinations and the assessment of suicidal ideation. Consideration of cultural differences in establishing a relationship and conducting an interview is integral to this course. **CC 516 can replace this course** (2 credits) |
