SP 449 - Biological Bases of Behavior


Prerequisite(s):   and  . This is a seminar course on cognitive neuropsychological foundations in school psychology. This course provides an overview of neuropsychological processes as they apply to the academic, social, emotional, and behavior disorders in school-aged children. Psychopharmacology is also addressed on an introductory level. The cognitive neuropsychological basis of educational theories and practices are studied and critically examined using current research. (3 credit hours)
