SP 446 - Ethics and Law in School PsychologyPrerequisite(s): SP 415 and SP 416 . Professional, ethical, and legal issues related to the practice of school psychology and the psychologist as clinician, consultant, educator, and researcher are critically examined in this course. Issues considered include privacy, privilege, confidentiality, and its limitations, informed consent, patients; rights, malpractice, client-therapist relationships, collegial relationships and other regulations influencing the practice of school psychology.
