FO 629 - StatisticsThis course provides a review of null hypothesis significance testing (i.e., t-tests, ANOVA, and chi-square), effect size measurement, and meta-analysis. Students receive a basic introduction to multivariate procedures such as multiple regression, structural equation modeling, and factor analysis. The course is designed to provide students with a practical understanding of how to apply statistical design and analysis to their own research problems and to enable students to better understand published data from journal articles. Students analyze data using the SPSS statistics program. (3 credits) |
